Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
To support its Data Center Automation initiative, the fully remote Senior Infrastructure Engineer will administer and troubleshoot server infrastructure, focusing on connectivity and access issues while collaborating with various technical teams in a contract role.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and/or Windows server infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
- Investigate and resolve connectivity issues impacting automation platforms and server communication
- Coordinate firewall rule changes, network access requests, and security approvals to ensure deployment readiness
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or server engineering
- Experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise Linux and/or Windows servers
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing, and firewall concepts
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and authentication configurations
- Familiarity with RBAC, IAM, Active Directory, or similar access-management technologies
