Job Summary
Supporting the database and ETL infrastructure of an Azure environment for a client in a regulated banking domain, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will operate and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory pipelines, manage Snowflake administration, and ensure the security and reliability of data workloads in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory operations, including failed pipeline runs and credential issues
- Administer Snowflake ingestion processes, managing stages, file formats, and troubleshooting load failures
- Implement monitoring and alerting for data pipelines to proactively address issues before they impact business operations
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or operations, with at least 3 years in Azure
- Strong operational experience with Azure Data Factory and Snowflake administration
- Experience managing Azure storage and file transfer infrastructure
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and document operational issues effectively
- Working knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets and private endpoints
