Job Summary
Owning vulnerability remediation and server operations, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will manage security findings across a hybrid environment of Azure and on-premises systems while ensuring systems are patched, upgraded, and hardened, all in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Patch, upgrade, and harden Windows Server and Linux systems in a hybrid estate using Azure Update Manager and configuration baselines
- Take ownership of vulnerability remediation, including triaging, prioritizing, and closing findings from penetration tests and scanners
- Manage patch and upgrade planning, maintenance windows, and stakeholder communication for software across the infrastructure
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or operations, with at least 3 years in Azure
- Strong administration skills in Windows Server and Linux across hybrid systems
- Proven experience in vulnerability remediation and exception management
- Experience with configuration management and hardening baselines (CIS or similar)
- Working knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets and NSGs
