Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the application layer of an Azure environment for a client in a regulated banking domain, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure App Service, manage CI/CD and monitoring for production applications, and ensure secure and reliable connectivity between systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage deployments, node pools, and service discovery on Azure Kubernetes Service, troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Oversee the application layer, including packaging, deployment, and configuration of applications across AKS and Azure App Service
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for application delivery, ensuring deployments are repeatable and observable

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or operations, with at least 3 years in Azure
• Hands-on experience with production AKS, including troubleshooting and service connectivity
• Deep knowledge of application layer components, including containers, Kubernetes, and secrets management
• Experience with integration connectivity between systems, including APIs and file transfers
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools for production workloads
