Job Summary
Owning vulnerability remediation and server operations across a hybrid estate, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will manage security findings, patch and upgrade systems, and ensure the environment remains secure and well-documented, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Patch, upgrade, and harden Windows Server and Linux systems in Azure and on-premises environments
- Take ownership of vulnerability remediation, including triaging and closing findings from penetration tests and scanners
- Maintain server configurations and implement monitoring and alerting for vulnerabilities in CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or operations, with at least 3 years in Azure
- Strong administration skills in Windows Server and Linux across hybrid environments
- Proven experience in vulnerability remediation and patch management
- Familiarity with configuration management and hardening baselines
- Working knowledge of Azure networking and CI/CD integration
