Job Summary
Supporting the database and ETL infrastructure in a regulated banking domain, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will operate and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory pipelines, manage Snowflake administration, and ensure the reliability and security of the environment while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory operations, including fixing pipeline failures and managing integration runtimes
- Administer Snowflake ingestion processes, resolving issues related to file formats, permissions, and query performance
- Implement monitoring and alerting for data workloads, ensuring proactive issue resolution and documentation of failures
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or operations, with at least 3 years in Azure
- Strong operational experience with Azure Data Factory and Snowflake administration
- Experience managing Azure storage and file transfer infrastructure
- Proven ability to set up monitoring and alerting for production data pipelines
- Familiarity with Azure networking concepts, including VNets and private endpoints
