Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support a mission-driven security team, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer will identify and mitigate risks, harden infrastructure, and build scalable processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and address security gaps in infrastructure to enhance resilience
- Apply secure-by-default designs across data, endpoints, tools, and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support on security initiatives
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience securing SaaS products and maintaining compliance with frameworks such as SOC2 and HIPAA
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, along with cloud technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with security tools like CSPM and vulnerability scanners
- Understanding of modern deployment patterns and cloud security risks
- Experience working in a fully remote, distributed team environment
