Senior Infrastructure Technical Writer

Job Summary

To ensure accurate and concise delivery of technical documentation, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Technical Writer will produce internal support documentation for Enterprise-class infrastructure and cloud platforms, collaborating with engineers and project managers while maintaining complex diagrams and documentation suites.

Key responsibilities:

• Research and analyze requirements for new infrastructure environment builds and document findings
• Create and maintain complex Visio flow diagrams illustrating transaction traffic patterns and network connectivity
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop documentation strategies and publish deliverables

Required qualifications:

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science or English
• Minimum of ten years of experience in producing technical documentation, especially in IT infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure server farms, network protocols, and system/application monitoring
• Proficiency in Visio and experience with documentation tools such as MS Word and HTML/XML authoring applications
• Experience hosting virtual meetings using Microsoft Teams
