Senior Infrastructure Technical Writer

Job Summary

To ensure accurate and successful delivery of process technical documentation, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Technical Writer will produce internal support documentation for Enterprise-class infrastructure and cloud platforms while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyze requirements for new infrastructure environment builds and document associated systems and hardware components
• Create and maintain complex Visio flow diagrams illustrating transaction traffic patterns and network connectivity
• Author and publish documentation suites for infrastructure projects, catering to both global Operations Support teams and Platform Engineering

Required qualifications

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science or English
• Minimum of ten years of experience in producing technical documentation, particularly in IT infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge of infrastructure server farms, network protocols, and system/application monitoring
• Proficient in MS Visio and Microsoft Word, with experience in HTML or XML authoring applications
• Experience hosting Teams meetings and collaborating with documentation peers on standards and processes
