Senior Insurance Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support the growth of insurance products, the full-time Senior Insurance Business Analyst will manage the requirements lifecycle for new products and state launches, ensuring accurate translation of business decisions into implementation-ready specifications in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the requirements lifecycle for insurance product and state-configuration changes, from discovery to handoff to Engineering and Tech Product
• Translate business decisions on products, filings, and coverages into clear business requirements and functional specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, resolve ambiguities, and maintain alignment throughout the development process

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or systems analyst role, including 3+ years in P&C insurance
• Experience translating insurance product concepts into structured business and functional requirements
• Working knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle and implementation in policy administration systems
• Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
• Proven ability to manage requirements across multiple products and concurrent initiatives
