Senior Integration Engineer
Job Summary
As a technical owner of the healthcare integration platform, the full-time Senior Integration Engineer will design, develop, and support HL7v2 interfaces while ensuring the reliability and availability of high-volume integrations in a fully remote position.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support healthcare integrations, primarily using HL7v2 across major EHR platforms
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the integration platform, managing configuration, administration, monitoring, and production operations
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure secure and reliable operation of the integration platform in a cloud-hosted environment
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of healthcare integration experience, specifically with HL7v2 interfaces
- Hands-on expertise in building integrations within enterprise healthcare interface engines
- Experience administering an interface engine in a production environment
- Expert-level knowledge of HL7v2 message structure and common types
- Strong JavaScript experience for message transformation and workflow logic
