Senior Integration Engineer
Job Summary
To support the implementation of a modernized financial and budget application for a federal client, the full-time Senior Integration Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain APIs and system integrations while working remotely in the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations connecting legacy and modern enterprise applications
- Analyze existing system interfaces and data structures to support modernization and integration activities
- Develop and execute automated API and integration tests while troubleshooting interface and performance issues across integrated systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development or systems integration experience with significant hands-on API or backend development
- Demonstrated experience designing and supporting RESTful APIs and enterprise system integrations
- Proficiency with Java, C#/.NET, Python, or comparable backend development technologies
- Experience with API authentication and authorization approaches such as OAuth 2.0
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data mapping and transformation
