Senior Inventory Accountant

Job Summary

To support inventory-driven businesses, the full-time Senior Inventory Accountant will manage complex inventory accounting activities, oversee reconciliations and month-end close processes, and provide client advisory services remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client resource for inventory and cost accounting, managing reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Support implementation and optimization of inventory management systems, including data validation and client training
• Prepare financial statements and inventory-related reports while analyzing key performance indicators to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4-8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in inventory-focused environments
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and cost accounting
• Experience with inventory management systems and accounting applications, including QuickBooks Online
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a remote environment
