Job Summary
Managing inventory strategies, the full-time Senior Inventory Planner will execute buy plans, maintain purchase orders, and analyze delivery options to ensure product availability aligns with business needs in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Translate seasonal inventory plans into purchase order and supply requirements by style, color, and size
- Analyze air versus ocean freight options for deliveries and recommend the best mode to balance availability and margin
- Proactively communicate supply risks and recommend solutions to support seasonal launches and inventory productivity
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, economics, operations management, or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, or related functions, preferably in apparel or consumer products
- Strong understanding of seasonal product lifecycles, purchase orders, and inventory flow
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and functions such as SUMIF and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Experience with planning software; Toolio preferred
