Job Summary
Leading the post-closing review process, the full-time Senior Investor Suspense Analyst will ensure the accuracy and compliance of mortgage loan files, resolve defects, and coordinate with various teams, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of closed loan files to confirm data accuracy and compliance with investor and regulatory requirements
- Resolve complex post-closing defects by researching issues and coordinating with internal and external teams
- Monitor and respond to post-closing stipulations and audit findings to minimize risk and ensure timely loan delivery
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in mortgage operations, specifically in closing and post-closing loan file review
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply investor, agency, and regulatory requirements to mortgage loan files
- Proven experience in resolving complex loan defects under tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Experience with mortgage or loan origination/servicing systems and productivity tools
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
