Job Summary
To enhance the mobile Wikipedia experience, the full-time contract Senior iOS Software Engineer will deliver medium complexity initiatives, improve product accessibility, and collaborate cross-functionally while working remotely with a requirement for at least four hours of overlap between 14:00 UTC and 21:00 UTC.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver medium complexity initiatives from technical discovery through delivery, managing scope and identifying risks
- Improve mobile product experiences for a global audience by leading system design and building scalable components
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop solutions that balance user needs and technical constraints
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5-10+ years of experience in building iOS applications
- Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, with knowledge of iOS architectural patterns
- Experience with iOS performance optimization techniques for high-performing applications
- Ability to work in a self-driven, lean environment
