Senior IT Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance operational efficiency and drive AI adoption, the full-time Senior IT Automation Engineer will lead automation initiatives, manage the enterprise automation stack, and establish an Automation and Agentic AI Center of Excellence in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational scale and employee experience through automation
- Own and maintain the enterprise automation and integration stack, ensuring performance and security alignment
- Establish standards and governance for the Automation and Agentic AI Center of Excellence, including documentation and prioritization practices
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in automation engineering or systems integration with a focus on IT teams
- Hands-on experience with enterprise workflow platforms and API-based integrations, including Microsoft tools like Azure and Intune
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Understanding of SaaS security and identity management principles
- Experience in re-engineering workflows with AI tools while maintaining security and measurable outcomes
