Senior IT Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support ongoing business operations, the full-time Senior IT Business Analyst will oversee day-to-day support of current business applications, manage system/process improvements, and implement new applications in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identifies, manages, and implements system/process improvements while resolving day-to-day support issues
• Acts as a liaison with application vendors to troubleshoot issues and coordinate new product releases
• Participates in the discovery and implementation process of newly purchased applications, ensuring effective application supportability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three or more years of related work experience with in-depth knowledge of Office applications and database architecture
• Experience with creating SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
• Demonstrated knowledge of business and application processes, including a good understanding of relational databases
• Insurance industry experience is preferred
