Senior IT Manager - Cloud Platforms

Job Summary

Managing the operational health and lifecycle of enterprise cloud platforms, the remote Senior IT Manager - Cloud Platforms will lead a team responsible for infrastructure services across Private Cloud, Public Cloud, and Containers, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations of infrastructure teams supporting various cloud environments, ensuring reliability and performance
• Supervise and develop system administrators and engineers, focusing on workload management and career development
• Oversee lifecycle management of cloud platforms, including installation, configuration, and disaster recovery capabilities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of experience in applications development or engineering
• 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including administration across multiple enterprise server platforms
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including direct supervision of technical staff in a complex environment
• Demonstrated experience with VMWare Cloud Foundation, Azure, AWS, and OpenShift platforms
• Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, backup/recovery processes, and production support
