Senior IT Project Manager
Job Summary
To support a complex Department of War organization, the full-time salaried Senior IT Project Manager will lead and manage IT projects from planning through execution, focusing on integrated schedules, risks, and performance while working remotely with occasional on-site support in Quantico, Virginia.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports for IT initiatives
- Coordinate project reviews and stakeholder meetings, preparing necessary documentation
- Monitor project performance and compliance, providing recommendations for leadership consideration
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or 5+ years of experience leading complex projects, with at least 5 years in project planning and risk management
- Experience managing multiple technology projects and producing executive-ready status materials
- Strong technical writing and facilitation skills
- U.S. citizenship required in accordance with government contract requirements
- Active US Security Clearance (Secret) is mandatory
