Senior IT Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of information systems, the full-time Senior IT Project Manager will manage the full system development life cycle for various projects, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the initiation, planning, execution, and closing of IT projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and project goals
• Act as the primary liaison among clients, vendors, and stakeholders, facilitating communication and reporting on project progress
• Define project scope, manage budgets, and monitor resource allocations to ensure timely and successful project completion

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• PMP Certification and Agile certification preferred (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe)
• At least 7 years of experience managing IT projects, with a focus on system implementations exceeding $500,000
• Experience with federal and state government projects, particularly in Health and Human Services or Medicaid systems
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project
