Senior IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance corporate IT security, the full-time Senior IT Security Engineer will engineer and manage security measures across identity, devices, endpoints, and internal networks while collaborating with the Security team on incident response and compliance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement identity and access hardening measures, including phishing-resistant MFA and least-privilege admin roles
• Oversee device trust and conditional access by utilizing MDM and EDR tools across a mixed macOS and Windows fleet
• Act as Incident Commander for corporate incidents, coordinating with IT, Legal, and Compliance to drive investigations and remediation

Required qualifications

• 6-8+ years in corporate security, IT security, or security engineering, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in a cloud-native or SaaS environment
• Deep experience with enterprise identity providers and protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0
• Hands-on experience with device trust and MDM/EDR across macOS and Windows systems
• Proficiency in production-quality scripting in Python or similar languages for security tool integration
• Experience serving as incident commander during real security incidents and conducting post-incident reviews
