Job Summary
Owning the administration and optimization of security tools, the full-time Senior IT Security Operations Engineer will work remotely to enhance security measures, investigate threats, and lead incident responses while mentoring junior analysts.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and optimize security tools, including S1, Tanium, Active Directory, Okta, and M365
- Develop and implement preventative security measures and monitor emerging threats
- Lead incident response efforts and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to strengthen security posture
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in information security, including security operations and incident response
- Hands-on experience with security tools and platforms such as SIEM, EDR, and SOAR
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices, including NIST and ISO
- Experience securing AWS cloud environments
