Job Summary
To design, build, test, and maintain scalable applications and data solutions, the contract-to-hire Senior IT Software Development Specialist will prepare detailed specifications and work with modern cloud data platforms in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, test, and debug software and data integration solutions using languages and tools such as PL/SQL, Oracle, .Net, and Azure Data Factory
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding for moderately complex information systems and data pipelines
- Focus on data integrity, governance, lineage, and production support, including monitoring and performance tuning
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ADLS for cloud-based data pipelines and storage
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including streams, tasks, and pipeline processing
- Experience with data ingestion tools such as Fivetran and HVR, and transformation using dbtLabs
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps within data engineering workflows
