Senior IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support a global, remote-first workforce, the full-time Senior IT Systems Engineer will design, scale, and secure identity, endpoint, and SaaS platforms while leading initiatives and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage Carrot's identity, endpoint, and SaaS platforms with a focus on security and user experience
• Lead the design and implementation of IT initiatives, including zero-trust access models and device compliance frameworks
• Build and maintain automation and infrastructure as code to streamline configuration and provisioning workflows

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or related infrastructure roles
• Deep expertise with identity and access management platforms such as Okta
• Expertise in managing Mac and Windows environments using JAMF and Intune
• Strong scripting and automation skills, including experience with APIs and source-controlled configuration
• Experience designing security controls and leading cross-functional technical projects
