Job Summary
Leading the design and development of complex Java applications, the full-time Senior Java Developer will create microservices and REST APIs, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex Java applications, microservices, and REST APIs
- Lead code reviews and enforce coding and security standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while mentoring other developers
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of Java development experience
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or Db2
- Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
