Senior Java Developer
Job Summary
To support a global banking platform, the remote Senior Java Developer will take ownership of key projects, managing all phases of the SDLC while collaborating with diverse teams to enhance and deploy technical solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality, and scope expectations
- Participate in all stages of the SDLC within an agile Scrum environment
- Enhance and re-architect existing components to meet new performance and scalability requirements
Required qualifications
- At least 6+ years of experience with Java and 7+ years of total IT experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Java (Core, JDBC, Spring Boot), SQL, and container platforms like Kubernetes
- Familiarity with REST web services, Kafka, Redis, and Unix commands
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, SonarQube, and Git
