Job Summary
To support a global banking initiative, the remote Senior Java Developer will build and enhance strategic reference data platforms, taking ownership of projects throughout the SDLC while collaborating with diverse teams.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality, and scope expectations
- Participate in all stages of the SDLC within an agile Scrum environment
- Provide level 3 support for the application and enhance existing components for performance and scalability
Required qualifications
- At least 6+ years of experience with Java and 7+ years in total IT experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Java (Core, JDBC, Spring Boot), SQL, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with REST web services, Kafka, Redis, and Unix commands
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Git, and SonarQube
