Job Summary
Leading the design and development of scalable Java-based microservices and APIs, the full-time Senior Java Engineer will work remotely, contributing to code quality, integration, and performance optimization while providing technical leadership to a team of developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs, ensuring robust specifications and seamless integration with internal and external systems
- Contribute production-grade code and conduct code reviews to maintain quality and security standards
- Monitor API performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement enhancements based on stakeholder feedback
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in building scalable modern Java services
- Proven experience in breaking down legacy monoliths into independent services
