Job Summary
Joining a distributed team, the full-time Senior Java Engineer will design, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot while developing REST APIs and supporting production issues in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services with Java and Spring Boot
- Develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations with Kafka
- Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional backend development experience with Java (Java 11+)
- Solid understanding of Core Java, including OOP, design patterns, and multithreading
- Production experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Experience with REST API design and integration
- Proficient in relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar)
