Job Summary
To support global healthcare initiatives, the remote contract Senior Knowledge Engineer will express medical specifications as data queries, research healthcare data models, and design test plans to ensure data accuracy.
Key responsibilities:
- Write simplified healthcare code to represent healthcare specifications (eCQMs and CDS-Hooks)
- Research innovative healthcare data models and logic expressions to accurately express specifications
- Design test plans and generate sample data to ensure the code produces the correct data
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical informatics, data science, software development, or a related role
- Experience with healthcare technology and Clinical Decision Support algorithms is preferred
- Experience with FHIR and Clinical Quality measures is highly preferred
- Post-secondary education in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with query languages, such as SQL, is considered an asset
