Senior Legal Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the Legal Department, the full-time Senior Legal Analyst will manage legal research, assist attorneys with complex legal matters in insurance and healthcare, and coordinate projects while working collaboratively with business partners.
Key responsibilities
- Provides flexible support and analysis to attorneys with limited guidance, ensuring effective communication and insight
- Manages time-sensitive projects including legal research, contract review, and legislative monitoring, demonstrating independent ownership
- Acts as a liaison to outside counsel, coordinating document sharing and knowledge management as needed
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; 5 years of experience with a JD or paralegal certification preferred
- Strong legal research and analytical skills on complex issues
- Ability to manage and coordinate legal research projects effectively
- Demonstrated ability to act independently and assume increased responsibility
- Solid writing skills to prepare comprehensive memorandums outlining potential legal issues
