Senior Legal Counsel
Job Summary
Providing a variety of general corporate, regulatory, and commercial legal services, the full-time Senior Legal Counsel will independently review, draft, and negotiate contracts, manage complex projects, and ensure compliance with applicable laws while working in a flexible hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Independently review, draft, and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and other parties
- Manage complex projects on behalf of the organization's business groups
- Participate in the ideation phase of new products, analyzing compliance with state and federal laws
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school and good standing member of at least one state bar
- 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, including drafting and negotiating business contracts
- 5+ years of experience engaging with business development teams on contracts/transactions
- 5+ years of experience with data rights/license agreements and intellectual property contracts
- Demonstrated experience in corporate matters requiring in-depth evaluation and interpretation
