Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Legal Counsel, Data Privacy to work remotely, who will manage legal strategy and execution related to privacy, data, AI, and compliance, while building scalable systems to support the company's evolving needs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead product legal strategy, focusing on privacy and compliance issues, particularly for new products like Subscriber Signals
- Develop scalable legal systems, including playbooks and templates, to streamline responses to recurring privacy and compliance questions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal considerations are integrated throughout the product lifecycle
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school in the United States
- Active member in good standing of a State Bar Association
- Experience as in-house counsel at a tech company or with a tech-focused law firm
- Deep expertise in U.S. and European data privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts and intellectual property law
