Senior Legal Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

To support clinical operations, the full-time Senior Legal Counsel (State Licensed) will draft and negotiate key clinical collaboration agreements and other legal contracts while collaborating with various internal departments and external partners, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate clinical trial collaboration agreements and related contracts
• Act as the primary contact for legal and contractual matters between internal teams and external parties
• Provide guidance and supervision to other attorneys and paralegals in the legal department

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admitted to a US state bar in good standing
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a major law firm or in-house with a pharmaceutical or healthcare company
• Substantial experience as lead attorney for drafting and negotiating Clinical Trial Collaboration Agreements
• Strong knowledge of regulations impacting clinical trials and pharmaceutical contracts
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and CLM systems
