Job Summary
To support a growing tech company, the full-time Senior Legal Counsel, U.S. Bar Licensed will manage in-house legal strategy focusing on product, privacy, compliance, and commercial contracts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead product legal strategy and execution, particularly around privacy, data, and compliance
- Develop scalable systems for addressing recurring legal questions and support cross-functional teams
- Establish processes for GDPR and data compliance vetting, reducing reliance on outside counsel
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school in the United States
- Active member in good standing of a State Bar Association
- Experience as in-house counsel at a tech company or with a top-tier firm serving tech clients
- Strong understanding of U.S. and European data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Familiarity with commercial contracts and intellectual property law
