Job Summary
To provide expert analysis and advisory support on Congressional matters impacting the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO), the full-time Senior Legislative Affairs Specialist will manage legislative tracking, compile reports, and coordinate responses to Congress in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile weekly reports on Congressional requests and manage tracking systems for incoming and outgoing communications
- Triage and assign Requests for Information (RFIs) and Congressional Directed Actions (CDAs) to appropriate offices, ensuring clarity and timely responses
- Assist in drafting legislation and manage quality assurance for all legislative-related documents before submission
Required Qualifications
- Must have a CURRENT/ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required
- 5+ years of experience supporting a legislative affairs office or congressional support team within the last 7 years
- Experience with General Accounting Office (GAO) audits and strong knowledge of the legislative process
- Proficiency in relevant technical systems, including CATMS and SharePoint, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
