Senior Life Underwriting Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting life underwriting transformation initiatives, the full-time Senior Life Underwriting Analyst will facilitate strategic projects and process improvements while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with underwriting project teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with IT on project goals
• Facilitate the documentation of business and system requirements, translating underwriting needs for technical teams
• Coordinate business readiness activities, including training and stakeholder communications, to ensure successful project implementation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience, preferably in IT or a business area discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business systems analysis
• 2-4 years of industry experience preferred
• Two years of experience managing technical projects in a complex environment
• Working knowledge of life insurance products and underwriting processes is a plus
