Job Summary
To support the Large Case and High-Net-Worth Foreign National Team, the full-time Senior Life Underwriting Consultant will assess complex mortality risks, review individual life insurance applications, and build trusted relationships with internal partners while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver thoughtful underwriting decisions for high-net-worth and foreign national clients
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal partners and distribution teams
- Support and mentor fellow underwriters, contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in life underwriting
- Strong technical and financial underwriting skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Mastery of underwriting principles, insurance medicine, and life insurance contract law
- College degree preferred; high school diploma required
