Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer for a remote contract position, the candidate will design, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot large-scale Linux-based infrastructure, focusing on bare metal and AI Factory environments while leveraging expertise in enterprise storage and GPU infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage bare metal server deployment and lifecycle management for large-scale infrastructure
• Deploy and support GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, ensuring performance optimization and resource allocation
• Oversee advanced Linux storage administration and high-performance data center networking to maintain operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level Linux administration experience, particularly with Ubuntu, and familiarity with Red Hat and SUSE
• Proven experience with Bare Metal as a Service (BMaaS) platforms and large-scale infrastructure environments
• Strong background in GPU technologies and high-performance computing (HPC) environments
• Advanced knowledge of Linux storage solutions, including Ceph and high-performance AI storage platforms
• Experience with high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery in mission-critical production environments
