Senior Litigation Paralegal
Job Summary
To support an in-house Legal Department, the full-time Senior Claims & Litigation Paralegal - Transportation will manage U.S. transportation-related litigation and claims while working remotely and collaborating with both in-house and outside counsel.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and support commercial-auto bodily injury, catastrophic-loss, property-damage, and transportation litigation/claims
- Coordinate evidence preservation following significant accidents and prepare litigation chronologies from accident reports and claim documentation
- Prepare first drafts of litigation documents and maintain complete litigation files, tracking all relevant deadlines
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of litigation, claims, or senior paralegal experience, preferably in trucking/transportation litigation
- Experience with a motor carrier, insurer, TPA, or transportation-defence law firm is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of U.S. litigation and discovery processes, along with legal drafting abilities
- Familiarity with trucking evidence and FMCSA-related documentation
- Proven skills in docket/file management
