Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full ML lifecycle, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will enhance model-driven pricing and underwriting accuracy while working remotely, focusing on feature generation, training, deployment, and monitoring of production models.

Key responsibilities

• Improve pricing models to enhance accuracy and reduce infrastructure costs
• Iterate underwriting models to maximize cash advance disbursements within risk thresholds
• Design and run backtests to validate features that enhance predictive power and coverage

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in building and shipping production ML/AI models
• Proficiency in production-grade Python and SQL, including custom feature-engineering pipelines
• Experience with gradient-boosted or ensemble estimators validated against strict accuracy tolerances
• Familiarity with LLMs and foundation models in production for internal tooling and user-facing products
• Hands-on experience with AWS for production model-serving, including capacity planning and autoscaling
