Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work remotely, this role will lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models to enhance marketplace algorithms, ensuring high performance and seamless integration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of machine learning and AI models to improve search ranking and recommendation algorithms
• Design and implement robust MLOps practices for model deployment, ensuring scalability and performance optimization
• Define evaluation frameworks for machine learning systems, overseeing metrics and A/B testing to ensure quality before and after deployment

Required qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
• 4+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, preferably in tech and marketplace environments
• Hands-on experience with self-hosting and post-training of open-weight large language models
• Fluency in the MLOps lifecycle, including data versioning, CI/CD for ML, and model monitoring
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
