Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the development of advanced algorithms for self-driving vehicles, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work remotely or from Pittsburgh, PA, focusing on the creation and enhancement of online perception systems and generative AI applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver state-of-the-art online and offline perception and generative AI algorithms for L4 self-driving vehicles
- Write robust software for real-time, resource-constrained, safety-critical applications
- Proactively identify limitations in the online mapping system and drive improvements
Required qualifications:
- Experience architecting, training, and deploying deep learning models in real-world environments
- Track record of driving applied research projects from conception to productization
- Experience in software engineering and machine learning algorithm design
- Prior experience in sensor fusion and/or online mapping is highly desirable
- Fluency in Python and experience with C++
