Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end AI biomarker development process, the full-time remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer will lead technical efforts, design AI-based biomarkers, and advance core foundation models while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the technical effort and define the strategic vision for patient-facing products in collaboration with product, biostatistics, and clinical development teams
• Design and build AI-based biomarkers using multimodal data to predict patient outcomes and treatment benefits
• Architect tools and processes to streamline the model development lifecycle from prototyping to production deployment

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of industry experience building deep learning systems in PyTorch or TensorFlow
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead in launching and monitoring machine-learning products in production
• Demonstrated depth in oncology and biomarker development, including familiarity with cancer biology and treatment pathways
• Proven project management ability, including scoping and managing dependencies across multiple teams
• Experience mentoring or managing machine learning scientists and engineers
