Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Job Summary
Working fully remotely, the Senior Machine Learning Engineer will implement applications following 12-factor principles, manage the full stack of software products, and leverage test-driven development to enhance product quality and agility.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain features across the product platform, including UI, APIs, and backend services
- Participate in daily paired programming and ensure adherence to test-driven development practices
- Provide input into product architecture and design while coaching junior team members on technologies and practices
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot 4.x+
- Proficiency in Python and experience deploying machine learning or Generative AI solutions into production
- Prior experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with MongoDB, including schema design and performance optimization
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
