Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Driving end-to-end solutions for perception modules in autonomous driving, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will design and develop deep learning models for traffic signal detection and recognition, ensuring safety and efficiency in various driving environments, while working remotely or onsite in Santa Clara.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions for traffic signal detection across diverse driving environments
• Conduct applied research and development of deep learning models for traffic signal tasks
• Drive data-driven development by collaborating with data collection and labeling teams to enhance system accuracy

Required qualifications

• PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS with 8+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience in complex projects
• Hands-on experience in developing deep learning algorithms and proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
• Experience in data-driven development and collaboration with data teams
