Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To develop and deploy machine learning models for camera-based perception in autonomous trucks, the remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer will own end-to-end model development, analyze performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and reliable driving solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy deep learning models for camera-based perception, including object detection and scene understanding
• Own the end-to-end model development process from data curation to evaluation and deployment
• Collaborate with perception and validation teams to integrate models into the autonomy stack and improve dataset quality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field with 6+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year of experience
• Experience developing and deploying deep learning models for computer vision or perception systems
• Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch, with experience in writing production-quality ML code
• Solid understanding of modern deep learning architectures used in perception, such as CNNs and transformers
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to integrate ML models into larger autonomy or robotics systems
