Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing fintech platform, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, and deploy machine learning models for real-time decision-making while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning systems for personalized donor experiences and fraud detection
• Own the production reliability and quality of models, ensuring they align with organizational values
• Mentor team members on machine learning best practices and enhance scientific rigor in model development

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related STEM field
• 5+ years of experience in building and deploying machine learning systems in production
• Strong foundation in the mathematics of machine learning, including probability, statistics, and linear algebra
• Hands-on experience with classical machine learning and deep learning techniques
• Experience with large-scale data processing and modern machine learning tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow
