Job Summary
Supporting the modernization of legacy systems, the full-time Senior Mainframe Developer will focus on converting COBOL programs into SSIS packages, transitioning DB2 processes to SQL Server, and performing quality assurance testing in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support modernization of the Data Warehouse and convert legacy COBOL programs into SSIS packages
- Assist with converting existing DB2 tables and processes into SQL Server
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and document application changes while performing unit and system testing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of application development lifecycle experience
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL and JCL (Job Control Language)
- Experience with DB2 z/OS, including database performance knowledge
- Familiarity with batch processing and SQL
- Experience with C# .NET
